    Itinerary

    Day 1: Casablanca

    We begin the 10 day morocco itinerary from casablanca by picking you up from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca, the largest and economic hub of Morocco. Our first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country, situated on a promontory along the Atlantic coast. Afterward, you’ll have free time for lunch.     Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

    On the second day of the Marrakech adventure (10 days) we drive along the coastline to Rabat, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the current capital. In Rabat, you’ll visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen – the Roman ruins of Volubilis –Meknes – Fes

    Today, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming blue alleyways of Chefchaouen. Then, we drive to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable preservation.

    You’ll see beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways scattered throughout the site. After touring the ruins, we drive 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, we’ll visit the impressive Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we head to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

    Day 4: Full day in Fes

    The fourth day of your Private 10-day desert tour begins with a guided tour to explore the highlights of Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and its cultural and religious heart. 

    We begin with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, followed by a tour of the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Entering through the iconic Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), you’ll explore key sites, including the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. 

    Next, we’ll head to the Jewish quarter, known as “the Mellah,” before traveling to an ancient fortress offering panoramic views of both the Medina and the city of Fes. In the late afternoon, we return to your riad for the night.

    Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga

    After a hearty breakfast, we head south through Imouzzer, en route to Ifrane, a city known for its cool climate, snow, and Alpine-style architecture, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we continue our Marrakech adventure (10 days) to the Cedars Forest, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed the monkeys as you explore the forest. 

    We then proceed to Midelt, where you’ll have some free time for lunch. Afterward, we drive towards Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz Valley, with several stops along the way for panoramic views.

    In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert in Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels for a ride across the golden dunes. We’ll stop atop a high dune to watch the stunning sunset, then head to a luxury desert camp. The camp blends traditional nomadic tents with modern comforts, where you can enjoy Berber music, dance around the campfire, and gaze at the star-filled sky.

    Day 6: Merzouga – Nomads – Ride camel – Erg Chebbi – Palm groves

    Continue our Comprehensive Morocco desert tour you’ll return to Merzouga by either 4×4 or camel, or for an additional cost, you can opt for an ATV ride. Once in Merzouga, your driver will be waiting. 

    The 6th day of your 10 day morocco itinerary from casablanca is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga region, known for its spectacular landscapes, from vast sand dunes and wild lakes to mines, fossil areas, and lush oases — perfect for outdoor activities. 

    We begin the day with an off-road drive to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. We then head to Khamlia village, where you’ll experience the lively Gnaoua music and dance performances. The village’s inhabitants come from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll take a stroll through a palm grove, a modern desert oasis.

    Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinghir – Boumalne

    Today, we leave the desert and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a key trading hub, with its souk bustling on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

From there, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, making our way to the stunning Todra Gorges.     Day 8: Boumalne – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

    Afterward, we continue our Sahara and Marrakech experience (10 days) to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll make stops for lunch and take photos at scenic spots.

    Day 9: Full day in Marrakech

    After a delicious breakfast, we’ll explore the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. As one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, Marrakech offers a wealth of history and culture. The tour includes visits to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic School. We’ll also take a stroll through Morocco’s largest traditional souk. 

    After some free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square, we’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, and the stunning Majorelle Garden. Finally, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation. Feel free to explore the lively Jemaa El-Fna square on your own.

    Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca

    On the final day of the 10 day Morocco itinerary from Casablanca, we’ll take a brief tour of the city of Marrakech. Afterwards, we drive north to Casablanca airport, making stops along the way for scenic panoramic views. Finally, we’ll transfer you to the airport, marking the end of your tour.
