As we say goodbye to Chefchaouen, our Luxury desert camp tour to Marrakech takes us to the archaeological site of Volubilis. Here, you’ll explore ancient Roman ruins dating back to the 3rd century BC, marveling at well-preserved mosaics, Roman baths, and impressive structures that offer a fascinating glimpse into the region’s rich history. We then continue to Meknes, a city renowned for its historical significance and stunning architecture.

Discover the grand Bab Mansour, an intricately designed city gate that stands as a symbol of Meknes’ glorious past. Finally, we make our way to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco, where you’ll enjoy a restful overnight stay, ready for an enriching exploration of the city the following day.

On the fourth day of your Extended Sahara desert trip You’ll have the chance to explore the lively and historic city of Fes. Guided by an expert, you’ll navigate the winding streets of the Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Uncover the city’s iconic landmarks, including the Al-Attarine Madrasa and the intricately designed Bou Inania Medersa, both exemplifying the beauty of Moroccan architecture.

Wander through the souks, where the air is filled with the rich scents of spices, colors, and traditional crafts. As you stroll through these ancient streets, enjoy Fes’ deep history and local culture, appreciating the enduring traditions that have shaped this fascinating city for centuries.

Leaving Fes behind,  we begin a 7 days tour from casablanca to Merzouga, passing through a series of picturesque landscapes. Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming town renowned for its European-style architecture and pristine streets. We then continue through the lush cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot friendly Berber monkeys.

As we drive on, we pass through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, where the lush palm groves stand in stark contrast to the surrounding arid terrain. By the end of the day, we arrive at the dunes of Merzouga. Here, you’ll go on a Sahara tour with camel trek (7 days) across the golden sands, timed perfectly to catch the awe-inspiring sunset over the Sahara. The evening promises luxury at a desert camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars and soak in the serene desert atmosphere.

On the sixth day of our Marrakech desert adventure (7 days) we head to Rissani, an ancient town known for its lively souk and rich history. Continuing our 7 days tour from casablanca, we make our way to the impressive Todra Gorges, a series of narrow canyons with towering rock walls reaching up to 160 meters.

Film enthusiasts will also have the chance to visit the famous Atlas Studios, a key location for many renowned film productions. We then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a true masterpiece of Moroccan architecture.

Wander through the maze of intricately designed kasbahs and alleys in this ancient fortified village, which has served as a backdrop for numerous iconic films. Enjoy a delightful lunch in the historic surroundings of Ait Ben Haddou before we journey through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views of towering peaks and expansive valleys.
